Dump GBTC and Buy New Bitcoin ETF?

In this video, I discuss whether you should sell your GBTC and buy BITO.

In the process, I examine the differences between a futures-backed ETF (with price decay caused by negative carry), a trust (GBTC), and a true spot-based ETF.

Right now, GBTC seems like a better bet, since the large discount to NAV may help to “pay for” the annual 2% management fee.

The best way to own Bitcoin is to buy BTC itself using Strike or Coinbase, and not a trust or ETF that holds it. Remember “not your keys, not your coins.”
